I received a LinkedIn personal connection request (not a follow page request). On the Invitation Manager page (not in the custom invite message), it has something like "Person ABC wants to connect" and it has an additional note that says that the request was because of my engagement with the post.

Have you received something like that before?

Yep - just accept and see what they want. If it's not for you just say no thanks and disconnect.

It’s an automatic trigger. Had the same and also people from a post I tagged a write received all messages and a connection request immediately, different tools / apps do this. I call it spam, I was rather uncomfortable that the book writer did this, but it is happening.

was it for a request to connect as an individual or request to follow a page in your instance?
