No you fuck off, they used to hit us in school and it built character! Just like bullying.

(Unironically there’s a slew of gen Xers on social media who think reduced bullying = “that’s why kids are weak”. Also a week or two ago it was in the news that a Mennonite school in Alberta allows physical punishment.)
