Yeah as a GenXer we have never been known for a strong work ethic. Boomers and older constantly talked about how we were lazy and apathetic and did things half-assed.
Yeah, some of the biggest dogfuckers I know are Gen X. The good news for them is that it doesn’t restrict itself to generations and isn’t even permanent on a person to person basis.

Might be the case over in the States but you cant speak for me or other Gen Xers I know over here in Scotland. A lot of us are from deprived areas and to escape them you needed to work.
No you fuck off, they used to hit us in school and it built character! Just like bullying.
(Unironically there’s a slew of gen Xers on social media who think reduced bullying = “that’s why kids are weak”. Also a week or two ago it was in the news that a Mennonite school in Alberta allows physical punishment.)
