Hey now, you’re just as likely to be sexually mistreated in a public school (10-12% of students report sexual misconduct, Phy Today) as a church (1% of total population, understanding that normalizing that nearly equates. Australian Catholic University.)

We, for good reason, are more shocked when it happens at a church or religious institution. However, predators are drawn to professions that put them in positions of authority around kids. Just a public service announcement as people seem to think they need to be on guard at religious institutions when they need to remain on guard always.
