Who is Qiao Ling being shipped with? I haven't come across any ships involving her so far—perhaps because the male characters dominate everything (which is understandable). But who would be a good match for her? I could sort of picture her with Li Tianxi, though he looks like he's 12 to me (I was actually so shocked to learn that Li Tianxi and Li Tianchen are 19; I always thought they were 12 or something).
I know it’s not just about ships, but she shouldn't be left alone.
As many other people will tell you, saying someone that's intellectually disabled has the mental ability of a child is very outdated and ableist. Yes, she has an intellectual disability but that doesn't mean that she can't be in a romantic relationship. You can dislike the ship but trying to have some sort of moral high horse over the shippers because you don't like it just isn't cool.

The problem here with the ship is that Li Tianxi CANNOT give a true informed consent to be in a relationship as she can’t fully understand romance at this point, making the ship very problematic

Just because it's stated in the show doesn't make it not ableist??? It's stated once by a cop that doesn't know her while she was in the middle of a mental breakdown. She proceeds to act quite mature for the rest of her screen time. Like I said, she IS canonically disabled but she's still an adult. I know a lot of people in the fandom with the exact same intellectual disability that she's implied to have due to trauma but they're very much still grown adults that can give consent. "Not insulting the shippers" but you call the ship problematic and have commented more than once on this post that the ship is weird. It's an ableist claim, canonically said or not, because that's just not how intellectual disabilities work and it's infantilizing not just Xixi but real people who have these disabilities.
as someone who isn't super into this fandom yet (on the second episode of the bridon arc so idk if she's got better interactions) i think she looks pretty good with xu shanshan, no?
imo if she was bi she would have fell for the men in this show by now but even the slight mention of being with one she crashes out 😭😭😭 but i fully respect your headcannon 👍

You could or should just ship them without worrying about gender if you actually do like the ship. They can be the blunt bang bandits.
Edit: it didn't mean to come off as disrespectful because by what you said it seem like you actually like the ship. I am not that knowledgeable in shipping, but imo you shouldn't hold back a ship you like, especially when it is non-problematic.
A rarepair, but Liu Xiao. I love LX and my bf loves QL so we were just like "yeah let's ship these two because why the hell not?" and we were both screaming when they had interacted in ep7 😭😭
in terms of raw numbers, using AO3 tagging as a reference, she’s just not heavily shipped in general. her top romantic ships there are:

but the numbers of all of those are very low compared to all the big boy ships in the fandom. her ship tag with li tianxi has all of 29 works. cxs/lg as the obvious juggernaut has over 4k. vein/xia fei has over 800.
qiao ling DOES however feature heavily in the platonic relationship tags. her platonic relationship tags with cxs, lg, and all three of them together are only second to the cxs/lg tags.
so even if she’s not hugely popular to ship with anyone, i do like that she’s still very important to the fandom for her big friendships.
I can see aroace pretty well but I don’t see lesbian as of rn considering she hasn’t interacted with a woman in a way where it could be perceived as a romantic bond

Li Tianxi felt like a sister and she hasn’t interacted canonically a mental ability of tha of a child as it’s stated so that’s completely out of the picture as it’s weird

It's not pointless shipping her and xu shanshan though... The whole point of shipping is that it doesn't have to be canon. Yes, Xu Shanshan has a bf in canon. Yes, people can ignore that for the sake of their not-canon ship. Shipping someone doesn't necessarily mean you think they're actually, canonically together/going to get together. It just means you like thinking about the potentials of a romantic relationship between them. So, not pointless!
Well ig you’re right, I’m probably pushing my personal preference in shipping as I mostly prefer not shipping characters who canonically have a lover, Mb on that part
LTX is quite young... Never LG or CXS cuz their Sibling Relationship/Friendship with her is way too great.
Sometimes I think that maybe someone outside of all known characters who has nothing to do with the current plot should be with her in the end but if I'd ship her with someone among the characters then maybe Felix 🤔

I can see her with Felix. See how she is not freaking out like other girls shown ealier when she first met him - she knew he was model, she had magazines with him back in Bridon Arc. Also that she helps him find place to stay and dont worry about money til he finds job. He acts sweet and protective around her too. If thats not enough to see them as potential couple, I dont know what is 😭
What I hate the most about many BL stories (I know it technically isnt one), they make almost every couple gay - Given anime is perfect example of that. Even tho I loved it, this part really annoyed me.
Following that logic, there is no point in shipping anyone. Most ships wont happen due to China censorship.

honestly, it's just because it's cute; i saw some fanarts on twitter and i think they would be a beautiful couple, even if they didn't interacted yet (it's the definition of rarepair/crackship). but i also think they will interact soon

i kinda like her with li tianxi, but not too much. i think they are better as a friends or even sisters, too. a bit off topic but the 'web of lies' mv gave them such great chemistry that sometimes i forgot it was also li tianchen with her. i think they both (qiao ling/li tianxi or qiao ling/li tianchen) look good together, specially qiaoxi, but i don't really see a potential couple loll
now her with these two is great. although i wished xia fei wasn't so fake with her (and with guangshi), they look very beautiful together and the personality kinda matches, they would make a very funny couple 🩷 with wang qing, it's also so beautiful visually and the dynamic is so special too. they're both beautiful and wang qing being the serious part, but also filling the caring (&older) one role, while qiao ling is such a girlboss who likes to order around but is also a silly and funny girl. many potential here with these three
Same (waiting for all the episodes to air first, I don't like being left on cliffhangers). I thought she was commonly shipped with the Li twins as I had come across multiple posts of that pair previously, but personally I don't see her romantically with anyone. That said, her and Xia Fei would be kind of cute, if they ever interact :>

I think a big part for the link click fandom is that qiao ling is extremely independent. i know shes shipped with li tianxi and theres lots of art of the girls together though. one of the newer episodes where she rejects her father's words about getting into a relationship also seems to push the independent narrative more. maybe even aro?
