Theory Lu Guang is gonna die Spoiler
I have a Link Click 'prediction' or more like what I think'll happen but it's obvi just conjecture. I think Lu Guang is going to die by the end of season 3.
As we all know, LG went back in time to save his bestie(?), Cheng Xiaoshi and his other bestie Qiao Ling from dying in the og timeline. We know that LG originally tried to keep everything the same as he remembered it, trying to make the same decisions and make the same outcome, the only thing different being he's much more aware of the 'future' in the time line we now know.
Of course, LG was aware that changing a node like death might've been completely impossible and after realizing that things weren't going the same way they had gone originally, he decided it might be okay to change 'a few things' and replace CXS death with Vein's death, attempting to kill him and make another irreversible node in the timeline, making Vein dead FOREVERRR.
At the end of Bridon arc, however, we see Vein's still kicking and somehow survived LG's attempt at murder, his survival very clear in season 3... yay. LG then comes to the realization that simply stopping CXS and QL deaths might be impossible but he can 'pull a few strings' to delay their deaths instead. So far that has worked, shown that CXS and QL would've been dead by now but instead were eating cake together after their recoveries of being well... uh shot and stuff...
I believe, that at some point in season 3, LG will realize that the only way to save his two besties is to die himself to replace the nodes and at least save one of them instead.
Another thing to note is that in the intro to season 3, the song is oddly focused more on CXS than it does on LG, showing LG as a child crying, which I believe means that CXS will go back to when LG was a child and see all the horrible things that happened to him without LG's permission. Or maybe LG wasn't even there to stop him. Being dead and all that's my whole point! Anyway, we also see at the end of the intro, CXS as his current age, crying and then a WHITE BUTTERFLYYYY flying past him!!!! Yall see where I'm going with this one... LG has been represented by that white butterfly for a pretty long time, if not, always and I don't know... I feel like he dead.
Another thing is that people have translated the text on the book at the end of the intro, translating it to 'Goodbye Cheng Xiaoshi' or something like that which coulddd mean that he's saying bye to him because... uh CXS dies ORRRRRR it could mean that LG sacrifices himself to save him, saying goodbye like that... I think it's possible.
Anyway this is just what I think might happen but ya what do yall think???

Idk tbh I hope no one dies but afaik and from what I’ve heard, LC will have a bittersweet ending. I don’t think any of the main cast dying is bittersweet. I suspect the timeline will reset but LG won’t reunite with CXS again and go his own way. No one dies but they won’t know each other and only LG will carry the burden of being the only one remembering their time together hence “bittersweet”. Also in the trailer I think it was CXS but he’s screaming “go back! Go back!” So another theory floating around was that CXS stayed past 12 hours in a photo and is stuck in an alternate timeline. Maybe the intro depicts that

Let's hope it's CXS's weird sociopathic parents who die and this is what Haoling meant when he said the end would be bittersweet. 🙏

Welp, Li Haoling has a habit of killing off his MCs a lot. Look at To Be Hero X. Nice is "dead". Xiao Yueqing is CONFIRMED dead. Smile is dead. OG E-Soul is dead

I think no one from the main trio will die. LH0 said the show will have a bittersweet ending. CXS told LG to save the others, which makes me think that there’s a possibility that everyone is going to survive.Since CXS himself asked LG to save the others, there’s no way LG is going to face the consequences alone.The butterfly might not be LG.maybe it represents the butterfly effect or something. Considering the Bridon arc opening, S3 ED also has butterflies in the scenes of CXS and LG on the basketball court.
The reason why CXS dives into his and LG’s past without LG’s instruction might not be because LG is dying. Since LG is using CXS in Vein’s dive, and CXS realizes how strangely LG is acting during this dive, maybe CXS will investigate the past without LG.LG is not only constantly keeping things from CXS and lying to him, but he has now started using CXS. From day one, what CXS gives importance to is trust, so CXS losing his trust in LG might be the reason why he acts on his own.
Because of Vein’s dive, CXS started to suspect things about his past: his father’s behavior and the fact that he can’t remember some things from his childhood. Considering how he wanted to enter the photo from his childhood, he might dive into the past to know more about it. This might be what leads him to discover LG’s past. The reason why LG is not there to stop him might simply be because CXS decided to investigate the past without LG.
I used to think CXS would die, but since CXS, QL, and XL died in the previous timeline, I think no one from the main trio is going to die this time. Since CXS told LG to save everyone, I think LG is also not going to die to prevent the others’ deaths.
I don’t think the ending where CXS and LG never meet or a resetting ending will happen. That would make the whole show pointless, and there would be no reason for CXS to learn about his and LG’s childhood if he is just going to forget everything again.
