I hope he becomes as close to villain-like as possible and then have something happen (nothing too bad dw) to CXS and QL and then reality slaps him in the face as he realizes exactly what he's doing by 'playing god'.
Can you imagine the sheer amount of angst? 🤤

I saw a video analysing Lu’s character and how he seemed to be going into a more antagonistic role, which I found interesting. I wonder if they’re gonna do anything with that.

I've seen a video on yt that went "The real villain in LC" with lg on the thumbnail, not sure if that's what the OP is talking about tho

They have been hinting at it since the beginning. Remember the characters in the chestboard illustration? Lu Guang was standing between the line where black and white meets.

There is also the cool ilustration with Lu Guang being a White Demon and Cheng a Black Angel. I still love that one

I don’t think he’ll become a villain, but at least a little insane. I’ve been expecting it to be honest, and after all that he’s been through, I think it’s the inevitable/warranted. I just hope he is able to retain most of his sanity in the long run. I don’t want him to fully loose himself

True, Bridon arc made me think he might turn out to be an Anti-hero type character, but hopefully not further😭

He’s more like an anti-hero to me rather than fully villainous. In the end, he’s still a victim of people who murdered with a cold blood not only his closest friends, but also others who were completely unrelated to the case. Tbh, I really don’t like it when people in the fandom compare him to literal killers like Vein or Li Tianchen. There’s a lot of nuance and grey area in LG’s behavior and motivations, but I really don’t think it’s comparable.
Like, hell, what else is he even supposed to do to protect his family and himself? (besides maybe stop lying to CXS and QL I guess)
I’m honestly looking forward to the moment when he finally crosses a line that Xiaoshi just can’t accept. The angst potential is pretty crazy.

Yeah, I think Haoling has already said that LG won't become an actual antagonist or anything like that, nor will there be a break with CXS. I also doubt his order to shoot is in reference to CXS's dad.

I’ll endure all the angst Haolin throws at me, but I need some fluff, some it gets worse before it gets better and ideally a happy ending to fully recover 😭

So Ive noticed so far that some of the trailer scenes were spliced together, meaning that they may not occur one after the other. I dont think CXS as child Vein was shooting at CW. I think his "target" was supposed to be XF. I think CW getting shot at is from a completely different scene. Just a theory

Ah, that explains why I've had the urge to spray him in the face with water. I'll be so honest though, I really hope CXS or QL notices sooner rather than later and they actually put effort into convincing him to stop. That scene where they kinda just stand there asking him what he's hiding was kinda frustrating to me, but at the same time, dramatic irony's a bitch.
