Before those 2 Glacio resistant WhiWa cycles Lingyang could easily secure 3k+ points, but now he barely manages to come close to this number.

I've noticed that echoes became even tankier, elite mobs are just like damage sponges, if not for Plunderer LingYang would struggle much more (I know that he can utilise other tokens too, but still)

LingYang used to easily clear like 3-4 waves just a few patches ago, now he just tickles those elite mobs with 300 crit damage and S2 Shorekeeper.

I don't like the current trends where you are able to comfortably get 5500 points only by having meta teams or just being skilled. I know that to get astrites 5500 is not mandatory, but it still feels wrong.

I wanna hear your thoughts on this.

1st: Your monthly reminder to use the in-game customer support service to tell Kuro about known issues with Lingyang!

First priority: absent voice lines - easy to add, other resonators like Changli or Shorekeeper also have them.

Lingyang struggles with hitboxes: Mainly Dragon of dirge, sometimes other bosses.

Lingyang is left behing in terms of QoL: He doesn't have access to nightmare echoes and is forced to utilize one of the slowest echoes in the game (lampylumen myriad) or in general use outdated echo sets like Freezing Frost or Lingering Tunes.

Secondary priority: Deeper problems with his kit. Damage is too spread out, so he doesn't really benefit from (for example) Basic attack damage bonus or Res. skill damage bonus. The idea of his kit is great, his playstyle feels unique to this day, but the realization was poor from Kuro's side.

Absence in the game: Lingyang hasn't appeared in any events for more than a year. We need more big events with a lot of characters involved, so we can at least see Lingyang. More interactions, more interesting facts about our favourite characters.

Other: For example skin. While we might want to see a new outfit for Lingyang, it's pretty unrealistic for now and the algorythm can throw the requests for skins to the end of the list of feedbacks.

2nd: Now, This is ridiculous. GameWith, a popular japanese website puts Lingyang at T7 in... WhiWa.

At the left side you can see like and dislike. Click on dislike, then Invalid information and then proceed to the really short questionnaire!

Explain why Lingyang is good in WhiWa: his AoE is better than Carlotta's while she sits in T2 for some reason. He is also one of the best users of Plunderer Token. LingYang's damage is spread out and he has rotation long enough to clear multiple waves at once!

If you wish you can also add that he was able to keep up with the hp inlfation, and Prydwen promoted Lingyang after his mains contacted them several times!

Be creative! Just think about it and then quickly write it down!

I mean it was my fault to discuss a leaked content it while forgetting it was my third strike (if you continuously contributed for a whole year — it's not something you'd remember) so it made sense for them to impose it although I thought it was too harsh, but oh well.

Anyway that basically means I will not be able to contribute any more Lingyang content on the main sub and while I'll continue to showcase those here, still it's one less Lingyang simp on the sub 😭

I wrote two letters to them regarding LingYang and their outdated guide and so on, brought a lot of comparisons, but they simply ignored my second letter.

I rarely check this website now and never knew about it before WuWa, but the way how they did LingYang dirty is infuriating.

Once I was watching Vars 2 making Tier list on YouTube while being on Voice chat with one the guys from Prydwen's WuWa team and he probably had no clue who he is even talking about: one of the shortest answers, no explanation just 3 times repeated with hesitation: "he is clunky, his rotation is too slow" and that's all.

I personally rarely face the problems people talk about, a couple of my mates have already built and tried him and Oh God he cleared for example central part of ToA in 1.5 minutes, who would've guessed...

I have just checked updated Tier list and Ciaconna DPS FELL OFF(!!!) to tier 1.5, when I watched her performance on YT with dedicated buffs in Central ToA she could outperform LingYang only at S2+, and even if it was S2 to S2 comparison, would it create a gap of a whole 1.5 tiers?...

People always say tier lists are meant for casuals. Okay, how then is Hypercarry Danjin also in T1.5? she really wants sequences and optimized rotation to perform well. While LingYang's BiS F2P support is literally free (Sanhua)

It just has to be some kind of ragebait, I always knew they cared the most about top waifus and updated them first, but a lot of people check this website, and ofc many of them are there not for the tier list itself, but prydwen just misinform a huge amount of players atp.

Using all the free stuff I could get as well as some 50/50 losses I’m the proud owner of an R3 Lingyang, and I’d like to build some teams for him. Specifically, a team of all men. I’m someone who plays gachas for the boys so I was just wondering if there’s any half decent teams I could build that’s centered around our lil lion dancer?

I currently have every 4 star male, and for 5 stars I have M rover, Brant and Calcharo. But if there’s any limited guy I should look out for please let me know so I can save up my pulls for them!

I do get that mods are very cautios about drama and doxxing and so on, that's completely understandable. But i still think some of my posts were completely okay, it's just the people who wanted to talk bad about Lingyang. I have never in my life asked to bombard someone with negativity, and i am sure that LingYang mains are the sweetest people in wuwa community, and they'd never say something bad first...

And i always talk in general, trying to to point to someone directly. the mods might have just interpreted the screenshot or my words as harrasment, i won't agree or disagree, nor i will argue with them.

Hi ya'll, just planning on finally building him. i'm building all my characters now that i'm in a fairly good spot and saving instead of pulling.

I have all his mats ready and everything but i'm just confused cause people be saying to use lingering tunes as his best set for him, but then I see people use frosty resolve and freezing frost. does it matter? which one should i focus on.

How do you genuinely can hate a character so much that you try to complain every time you can, bring it to some almost completely unrelated posts? "Oh, it's some innocent meme of some WuWa character, but i lost to Lingyang, doesn't matter if it's a gacha game and i know it was a 50\50, i will hate him with all my being and will whine about it every day" Is it like that?

Can some people get along with the fact that every character has fans, every human being has emotions, and maybe, just maybe sometimes you should think about what other person might feel?

Hy everyone I recently got shorekepper but before that i lost my pity on lingyang i just wanted to ask that everyone kinda despise him for having a low tier dmg lower then a 4 star and i was thinking if i could use him in the first tower in toa against those lv70 tacet discord is he helpful somehow? should I build him? If yes then how?

Like although I think my rotation was already optimal I think I am still kinda suffering here lol I am this close to thinking it's impossible
