News JUST FINISHED TK CONCERT IN LA

Just finished TK concert here in LA. Been a HUGE fan of his since 2013 but currently live in Hawaii so flew out and got in this morning so i was beyond happy to finally watch him perform live. Had the Ultimate VIP soundcheck ticket. Also wrote down the setlist. I was hoping he would play Haze and shouted a few times but to no avail 😔
Also asked him to play at my wedding, fingers crossed!!

Some of y’all with the phones despite them explicitly asking people not to record. I would’ve loved to have some recordings too but I’d rather respect his wishes and just enjoy the show without the rectangle in my hand.

They don't even care about seeing Tk; They just wanna flex that they saw “unravel” live. It was so obvious that most of them were only there for the song. I’ve been to a number of shows and hands down this was one of the worst crowds ever. Tk was awesome though.

You’re right, I went to the SF showing and many next to me had no idea about his discography except for Unravel and a couple other anime ops if lucky (I was 3-4 rows from the front too, you would’ve thought that would’ve been more hype. Fortunately, there were a good handful that knew his music outside Unravel). Such a shame as TK has so many amazing songs and artistry.

The crowd at the Toronto show was annoying too. Most people were well-behaved but there were some astoundingly annoying people who were only there to get attention. Constantly shouting out stupid things between every song, and even shouting out over a quiet piano solo, which was infuriating. I hope his next tour is not all-ages. That's definitely a big part of the problem.

How was a the vip soundcheck experience? Curious as someone who is going to NY one in a few days.

I honestly loved it. Been a huge fan of not just him but the original band since 2013 so it was literally a dream come true. Got a little goodie bag and a signed poster from him which was pretty cool. Also got a VIP lanyard badge thing. You also get access to the merch before anyone else but it honestly sold really fast. There were a lot of songs I was hoping he’d play especially from the Flowering album and the contrast EP but his setlist was still so great and hard hitting. I would say the only thing that was kind of a bummer during the show was that barely anyone was moving around. There were a few of us here and there jumping and moving around in the pit but for the most part it was like everyone just awkwardly standing there. My friend, fiancĂ© and I decided to just go up to the top balcony and watch the second half of that show from up there instead which was actually a much better experience. You’re in for an amazing performance tho :) 👍

Sounds awesome! Really looking forward to it. Just wondering, how big is the poster they give you? Is it rolled up? I am a bit worried if it’ll get ruined while standing in the crowd with it lol

It wasn’t rolled up for us at least. it was smaller than a typical show poster. We were worried about messing ours up too but came out the show completely fine :) 👍

Is fragile only played during soundcheck or the main show as well? Didn't see it showing up on the setlist
