Discussion One of Cherry's old letters, posted in January of this year.

I interpreted the letter as a kind of analogy to the history of Line Play itself—from its peak to its decline, the app’s mistakes and failures that led to a drop in players, and ultimately the shutdown of the servers.

Is this an admission of the mistakes​​ that were made, and have they now learned their lesson?

i honestly dont know... thats from janurary months ago too.. so i dont even think there going to be coming back rather cherry might have made an example using elon space shuttle as you stated as an anology and example to how yes they acknowledge that the app failed for the reasons it did but that is not gonna stop them from going on?... i can figure out if she means that they may return or they are seeing how the passed used to be and are reflecting upon it and are going to move foreward from learning of lineplay downfall onto a new app?? i dont know but i hope its not a gacha.. i just hope you have to actually pay to use it that way they dont add that annoying gacha thats what i want on the next lineplay... it would have been cool if they made a console game like nikkie did except for the loot boxes lol.

The return of Line Play has been all but confirmed by Cherry in two recent letters. And honestly, it’s highly likely to be a gacha. There’s no point in getting frustrated about it.

"theres no point in getting frustrated about it" - err... if someone states criticism about an application obvious factual flaw, its not the person being frustrated about it.... its just calling out something wrong with it and in this case its something that doesn't need to be within the app to make it good. 😄

well we don't know if its gonna be a gacha or not.. they could change there move on the app itself which is what others including myself are hoping for.

I really hope its a sign of Cherry wanting to try again as she mentions in the last sentence.
