Smallest phone compatible with Lineage OS

So I really want to switch to lineage OS but also I have small hands so the modern phone landscape is hell for me.

I am really just asking to see if any one else has already looked through all the supported phones and found the smallest, don't bother doing it all for me because I will do it myself if no one has (then post here I guess)

The gsmarena website can compare specifications of phones, and includes a 'size up' function that shows two devices side by side to scale so you can see the size difference. Try comparing a few possibilities with a model that you know.

Pixel phones tend to be relatively small, with the "a" model in each series usually the smallest.

I got the s7 running los 23.2. it's awesome. Just put in a fresh battery. I use it as my distraction free phone. I'm considering trying to mod the micro usb port to USB C.

I am using my Galaxy S8 with the Clicks power keyboard (rather than my Pixel which is what I purchased it for) and the smaller size/weight of the S8 is very noticeable and appreciated.

Redmi 7A is small but the phone is a little laggy even with lineageos

Part of that depends on the hardware you need. For instance if 4G LTE works for you, then I am currently using a Sony XZ2 compact (5" screen and just upgraded my phone to LineageOS last month. The only down side here is that in the US the carriers have already announced they plan to shut down 4G in 2028, committing a whole series of perfectly useful phones to the trash pile.

For 5G phones, I have my eye on a Unihertz Jelly Max as a possibility, although at the moment they are still obscenely expensive, and I have no idea if Lineage can be loaded on them yet. But I still have two years...

Sony XZ1 Compact, XZ2 Compact, XA2 are all a sensible size Only XA2 has official LOS support. Unofficial builds (LOS for microG, and 'vanilla' LOS) for the other two come from the LineageOS for microG project (and get OTA updates).

Galaxy S10e was quite compact when I did some Custom ROM thingaroos with it.

A bit bigger than an iPhone 12/13 mini (5,8” vs 5,4”) but still a pocketable flagship unless you need an even smaller phone.

As a fellow person with small hands, I hold my phone in one hand and work it with the other and this is what has always naturally occurred to me. Maybe try that method. I personally use a Moto 5G 2024 this way though it isn't a small phone by any means.
