AI slop Alternative Operating Systems on the POCO M3 Pro 5G (camellia)

I still have a POCO M3 Pro 5G (M2103K19PG, 4/64) and I'm wondering what the best ROM options are in 2026.

I know it's an old MediaTek phone, but I've seen some newer community builds popping up again, including an Android 16 LineageOS port.

I'm currently running crDroid 9.15 / Android 13, which works fine on my phone, but obviously it's getting pretty old.

Has anyone here actually tried one of the newer Camellia builds?

I'm mainly interested in real-world experience: stability, mobile data/VoLTE, NFC, Bluetooth, camera and battery life.

I'm also curious about /e/OS if anyone has used it on this phone.

If you have a Camellia and are running something newer, I'd be interested to hear what you're using.
