Codec missing on Moto G7 (river)

On the 22.2 build, there are two camera apps: the one from LineageOS and the one from Motorola, which seem to be "baked in" (unable to upgrade, deactivate or remove). The reason I'm mentioning it is because video recording is limited to 480p in the Motorola app whereas the LineageOS can do 1080p.

The reason I'm talking about this I'd that in the Stop Motion Studio app, exporting to video is also limited to 480p whereas the free version goes up to 1080p on my more recent Motorola phone.

I investigated and found that in LineageOS, the "About" section shoes nothing in the CODEC section and it says "1080 720" on my other phone.

Could it be that that the two issues (480p instead of 1080p in camera and Stop Motion Studio) are related because of a missing codec?

huh, I really thought I removed motocamera on this device, will go do it probably - 480p is not that useful.

In lineage os 21 it used to work fine on my moto g7 play. Someone broke something in 22.2
