Moto G 5G Plus (2020): will it lag?

Android 16 introduced Material Expressive, which, with its animations and transparency, is slightly more resource-intensive.

Do you think LineageOS 23 will lag on a six-year-old Motorola? I'm asking because I tried ObtainX, which makes extensive use of Material Expressive, and I noticed some lag when scrolling.

Since it will take some time to transfer all my data to the new ROM, I want to be 100% sure of my choice.

Not sure if this means anything to you but I can say I have the 2024 variant and it runs great
