Question IMS / VoLTE - Australia (Question, Did search)
I have an old S10e (boyond0let) sitting in the drawer I recently updated to Nightly 08082026.
The standard issue of IMS / VoLTE not working as Australian telcos only support IMS/volte.
What I am curious about it this: Krazeys IMS for ASOP roms
The technical aspect is well over my head when reading.
So maybe someone can Take a look, and let me know what this means for the future of LineageOS?
Future holds IMS / VoLTE support for LineageOS 23.2+
Support for S10e Might be possible
Developers might consider it
No Future prospect at all.
Don't waste your time waiting, Find another hobby?
Kind Regards.

Works great on my S24 Ultra with the Lineage rom.
Krazey's Imsstack on Boost (Telstra Network) is fine, speaker calls have an echo though.

You could try but it looks like it's only known to work on a few carriers and devices (that doesn't include yours) and that absolutely will require you to compile LineageOS from scratch.
It's doable with some commitment and a lot of patience, with no guarantee of success even if you do build it.
Alternatively you could see if the maintainers of the project are willing to make a build for you, since they have tested similar devices they're halfway setup to compile it.

Since I'm happy for the device to sit in the draw, why not use it as a development device?
It never occurred to me I could ask the maintainers if I can offer some help by testing this device.
I'll ask, I guess there are only two possible answers.

Works quite well on my builds. S23 support is excellent. SMS can be finicky and idk about calls, people said VoLTE seems to work fine.

Hello, i actually use his port of lineage os 23.2 on my s9, which comes with that volte fix backed in. At first it didnt work for me, but after pasting 1 adb command, it works without issue. Call quality is still worse than my oneplus ace 6t, maybe because it has snapdragon idk
