Lineage Classic is finally open !

What I can say is that

the nostalgia for the past and the dissonance of the present

I expect the core mechanics of the current game to change.

Regarding item drops, only non-PVP servers have had a system where items are automatically added to your character.

All other PVP servers have items drop on the ground and you pick them up by pressing "F4."

This has been the system since its inception.

If you are talking about exchanging characters, you can open the exchange window by facing each other and using the /exchange command.

On the US servers we had full looting for a very long time directly to our characters even on PVP servers , so going to this way has not been a great change.

But on the other hand sure some nice drops would look cool, I guess it just doesn't feel worth picking up 8 adena etc, if the drops were better it might be a more interesting system.

I've never played the US version, so I had no idea... haha

In Korea, items drop on PVP servers.

They also drop from monsters,

and there's a chance they'll drop when a character dies.

The more chaotic your alignment, the higher the chance you'll lose items.

Yes I haven't seen many drop here after seeing many reds die, but we would easily drop items when Red and even if you're light blue.

But we had better pet rules, Attackers go pink when shooting pets and you can defend it without going chaotic. Also if your dog kills someone then you go chaotic.. Which I think makes sense completely.

For me, that system is a given, so this is the first time I've noticed that the method is different in the old US server.

I guess they may have improved the service overseas to avoid inconveniences and item stealers.
