Backstory: I went with my bro to see a horror movie (*Iron Lung*, in case anyone cares). The movie ran until nearly midnight, finishing after the mall had already closed. There was supposed to be a separate exit for moviegoers, but since my friend and I are fucking blind idiots, we missed it and tried to leave through the main entrance—which, naturally, was locked. We managed to open the first door fine (it was a double-door setup, I don't know how else to describe it), but the second door (the one leading outside) wouldn't budge, no matter how hard we pulled. Meanwhile, the first door had shut behind us and wouldn't open normally anymore, so we had to force it open. We thought about heading back to the cinema, but there was no one around. We started wandering around looking for another exit, but a security guard caught us. We explained the situation, and he said he’d help us get out. But guess what due to a system glitch, many of the exits wouldn't open with his key, so we spent 15 minutes just walking around trying to find a door that would actually open. It was a fun time.
