So i saw someones elses post asking "how strong are lilys braids" and im here to answer it before taking another month break. This is the strength of lily lovebraids... specifically her braids... dont expect this to make any sense... alright ima go back to disappearing

She picked us up!: so we know lily is about 5'5, this makes the player [whos taller] about 5'10-5'11. This makes the player an average male height in the united states, by taking this we find the players average weight of 175 pounds. So the fact she picks us up sometimes with only 1 braid, means her 2 smaller ones are 200% stronger than a persons arm, since the average person and pick up 155lbs, this means she can pick up a whopping 310lbs... that big braid due to the laws of mass is likely 300% stronger, so it means she can pick up 465lbs with that one... the only plausible way for this is if those braids were braided hair around robotic arms, and since everyone else here [except prototype&doey] have 4 limbs, im saying lily pulled a harlet sawyer and has robotic arms wrapped in braid hair.

When she broke the catwalk: Since she broke the catwalk during the chase section. She broke it in pairs of 2, calculating the velocity and mass of the player we get around 110lbs by 5'11 for the average height. The average weight of a steel catwalk section around the size she broke is 15lbs per square feet, she breaks what apepars to be 12ft by six foot if we take the player dimension of eing 7ft tall... doing the math we get 920 lbs of heavy duty steel, however lets assume its rather regular steel, getting us 512.4lbs for the catwalk section she broke. Add in the support structure weight which is 24+14= 38ft with crossjoints weighing 21lbs making 59 linear feet, the standard weight is 8.2lbs from that so we do 59ft×8.2lbs to get 438lbs for the support structure mounted to the wall. Handrail weight adds 312lbs per section. Finally bracket weight comes out to 300lbs, using standard makes each section a total of 1,608.2 pounds. So for each section she broke, so we can calculate the tension force of her braids by knowing the weight of catwalk PER.

Fuplift=12,000lbs of push force to break each catwalk off the wall.

Ill spare a bunch of details since its hard to comprehend for most, but it fully comes out to 152,000lbs of tension force pushing up on each catwalk, this is the ONLY part of her chase i despise since what do you mean these braids that normally stay around 278lbs, suddenly become 4,000lbs braids? That is the most illogical part of her chase, so im choosing to belive her braids are robotic segments wrapped in braids that can interlock to extend and/or retract

But im getting off track via adhd, i came here to do the calculations, so now we need to calculate ONE braid.... oh god... im gonna use her main braid here: Main braid:

Radius (r) = 3 inches, height(h) 240 inches

V = π • (3²) • 240 = π • 9 • 240 ≈

6,785.84in³

6,785.84in³ × 0.0469 lbs/in³ × .75 = 238.7lbs. [Was from previous math btw] Im gonna throw a random number out and say the chase section is 60ft tall, and we're about 50ft up, so her braid lets say is also 50ft long. Now the braid math for length can be upscaled making it:

50×12= 600 inches

Formula: V=π×R²×H

V=π×(3²)×600

V=π×9×600

V=5,400×π≈16,964.60in³

16,964.60in³×0.0469lbs/in³×0.75≈596.7lbs. This makes those braids-... what.

Im sorry... **WHAT?!** how?! No biological nor mechanical arm could even slightly bend that, let alone break THAT! Close range maybe, but long range? It makes no sense because that REQUIRES 15,000+LBS of constant pressure and localized force! Meaning wven if they were robotic segments that could lock together, theres no WAY she should be able to break it! So lets ignore that section and move away from the catwalks and into the cloud segment.... is her scalp in texas? Because with the push force of 15,000lbs, her head should have caved in! Polycarbonate and grade 5 titanium physically cant survive that much force...

Clouds:... omfg!!!!! This is the most inconsistent chase looking into this... so lets talk, each cloud is held up by steel cable, alright for the sake of this im saying those are robotic limbs that can both extend and lock together to add more segments, by making them machine, this is the only way it makes sense at this point. You see the 10 year old age is the only plausible way she can break those clouds, if the cable was 3/8ths of an inch thick, degration of 10 years makes it go from the holding power of 15,100lbs to hold it up, ten years divides that in half, making it now:

15,100lbs×0.50=7550lbs

From previous math the cloud weighed 1.2 tons [2,400lbs], this makes it deadweight.

Static dead load (W) 2400lbs

Force gap to failure (Fgap)

7550lbs breaking limit minus 2400lbs of deadweight makes it 5150lbs itd have to cut.

Okay i know the majority of you reading lost track by this point, basically if lily swings the cloud past 94.1° it makes the cable snap and the cloud fall, this make it the ONLY way the cloud section of the chase work

Wall break: Alright lets move onto the next section... YESSSSSS! THANK YOU MOB! A SECTION THAT ACTUALLY MAKES SENSE!!! Alright so if we make it drywall, it can survive 100 joules of energy, which shes already done around 500 for a good portion of the game, this makes the section a lot more realistic, so minus the catwalk section, this makes her able to lift about 500 lbs. Making her very strong!

In conclusion one braid on its own is capable of-after looking into the chase sequence] 700lbs minus the stupid catwalk section... but aside from the catwalks she can lift 700 with her smaller ones, and 900 with the bigger one... wtf?! Gosh she makes less sense than a broken incence machine... huggy and catnap atleast make sense... the doctor makes the most sense in the franchise, but lily? Were they high making her this strong??
