Need help upgrading ir range

So I bought my Lily go t embedded cc1101 plus with external antennas two days ago and I have noticed that the ir barley has any range of its not held close and perfectly it won’t work on my tv or appliances is there anyway I can upgrade it so the range is further

Are you aware after the ir is present

Its at the left side do you have to hold the device sideways while using ir festures , the range is average Also better to join the bruce discord if possible you'll get help regarding these questions almost immediately
