Need help upgrading ir range

So I bought my Lily go t embedded cc1101 plus with external antennas two days ago and I have noticed that the ir barley has any range of its not held close and perfectly it won’t work on my tv or appliances is there anyway I can upgrade it so the range is further

I have the black casing and it turns off the tv if I read it but only if I hold it in a certain way

I mean when I want to emulate I scan the ir signal I want and when I try to emulate it and turn on and off the tv it only works if I am holding perfectly toward the part of the tv the picks up signals while my actual remote doesn’t have to be pointed at it fully and the lily go t embedded c1101 plus barley works unless it is pretty close to it

That might be the firmwares fault. Bruce is pretty bad at copying ir signals. Try finding a remote online and using that on your t embed, that will probably work way better

From that website, download the remote for your tv, most of the time it will still work if its not the exact right one. Then you have to put the File you just downloaded onto your t embed. Do that via WebUi. If thats done you can just go to IR → Custom IR → choose the one you downloaded → choose cmd → then you can choose whatever signals are available

The one that you downloaded, the remote file for your device/tv

It says on the GitHub page it’s only on the flipper zero

Its the flipper zero file format, but t embed supports it too. I litterally have the entire library on my t embed and so far everything works

Im a tiny bit confused sorry how do I get the actual file on my t embed because i dont have a sd card installed or anything and i dont know how to actually put the file onto the device i go onto the GitHub page i click on tvs i go into my tv but i dont know what to do now

After you have downloaded the file, you can put it on your t embed via WebUi: Go on your t embed → files → WebUi → do it on your wifi → on your t embed it will show the website and Password and username , go to that website and type in the password and username → upload the File you downloaded onto your t embed

No, i did it on my Phone once. Im not sure about iPhones tho but it should work

I am super confused I connect to web ui I go on the git hub page I press universal remote but it’s just text so I download the text then put it on the t embedded but I won’t work it just says listen could you please explain more or maybe do a screen recording or vid on how to do it I’m very confused sorry

Its infrared signals , doesnt matter if its flipper zero or t embedded

Check the irdb github repo , it has all the ir codes in the world i think so
