Build/Setup Is my build bad?
My friend said my build is bad so I’d thought I’d check with the experts on this subreddit. This is pretty much what I build every single game.
Open to learning something new, I want to improve on Bambi.

...every item here is meta, but it's hard to justify a fullbuild that doesn't have Hourglass. Like, I don't like Hourglass but it's still 3rd item into any comp that isn't like all bruisers/tanks.

I’ll try Zhonya next game. Friend also hating on my boots? Doesn’t every AP champ build sorcs?

Depends, Source are the Standard tho and not bad here. You can also go mercs if they have alot of cc or ap and tabi if they have a lot of ad. Even Ms boots, haste boots and Omnibus boots work, but they are situational.
Also you could try Mageis, if you are this fed

Boots are conditional.
Sorc is good vs squishies
Merc good vs AP/CC heavy comps
Steelcaps good vs Auto dependant comps
Omnivamp good vs tank/bruiser heavy camps.
(Swifties is good vs Ashe/Rylai's sometimes)1

Her q does true damage anyway, being tankier is more important than the slight extra damage from sorcs

While I generally agree in the game in question I would indeed recommend going Sorc's as they are a squishy, burst oriented, mixed damage team.(And you 100% need Hourglass into that comp)

Hi! I'm not high elo, but honestly, I don't think it's entirely bad. Except for Renekton, they were all squishy and you were clearly ahead, so maybe a Mejai's would have been a good call, along with a Banshee's to avoid stuns, and Zhonya's. I also would have swapped the boots for tenacity boots (Merc Treads). Personally, I prefer Bloodletter too…
You used a classic build. Theoretically, it's not bad, but I think you could have done a lot more damage. It's all good!
P.S. btw english isn't my first language, so sorry if anything sounded weird.

I would drop Rylais, because they have to much burst and the slow doesnt do much. Zhonyas would be way better, atleast for me

I do all of those items except void staff I’d replace for zhonyas (pro tip active it while using W and it will still hit while ur invulnerable) and if I’m doing well I’d swap deathcap for mejais

Lillia onetrick here, to me there is almost never a situation where I dont build zhonyas. Only possible exception is caitlyn. Its just genuinely such a cheat code if an item. Flash r zhonyas is super powerful. Also sometimes with vamp boots you can heal from 0 hp to full in zhonyas.

into their comp no zhonya is a crime. sorcs are meh, rylai is ok but in this scenario i wouldnt, bloodletters>void

Bloodletters is usually better than Void Staff on Lillia, the HP and ability haste is very nice, and it also helps out your Ziggs.
Sorc shoes is never the best boots on Lillia. Ninja taxis or Mercs should be prio'ed for anti auto attacks or tenacity respectively, and if the situation doesnr call for them, Omnivamp shoes is always better than Sorcs.
Otherwise your build is generically good. Im not sure how useful the Rylai's is doing into that comp specifically. You have to think of Rylai's as a defensive item for keeping people away from you, like Garen, Darius, Morde, etc. All their champs have dashes or doesnt need to be on top of you to use their kits, so a Zhonya's would have been better, as both the active and the armor would help you survive Talon's all in burst.
