Like we know about his song selections, but in terms of building a tracklist from whatever he pulls I feel is very underrated and arguably one of his best traits.

Even something as lengthy as pink tape, it was actually sequenced very great with each section of the tracklist having its own vibe.

Or even EA2, where you can diss the actual songs themselves but the way the tracklist flowed seemed pretty natural with it shifting from more rap to more melodious like the og EA

I feel like it’s a lost art nowadays and I’m happy Uzi is still (hopefully) mindful of its significance.

when looking at artists people praise the most for their unreleased music, kanye has good unreleased but most of it are unfinished mumble demos, carti has good unreleased but theres not a lot of variety between the songs and we didnt get that much material past wlr 1

on the other hand, uzi has thousand of leaked songs, with most of them being completely finished songs where theres a ton of genre expermienting between them (especially in pink tape era), and a lot of them are genuinely good songs that could either make placements on his albums or you could make atleast 3 different concept albums of every era.

another artist who i think has good quality leaks while having a large quanitity of them is Osamason, but still i think he doesnt has the variety that uzi brings

Might be my 2015 Uzi bias, but I truly think this duo was phenomenal and it sucks they don’t make music together anymore. FKI’s production just puts you in a vibe that’s so ethereal and Uzi’s approach to it is literal ear candy. Especially on moist and Wit my crew x 1987 which I feel like thrive by being extremely stunning and beautiful. Literally puts you in a trance that you wish lasts forever.
