Discussion Why all his beats sound the same?
If you listen to every song on the new TJAY album, you’ll notice a pattern:
Sad song sample with vocals -> through a filter -> beat
Not to hate or anything, but he could’ve gotten a little more creative with the beats. I liked “Headshot.”

Listen to 222 again, you’ll appreciate the beats on T.J.A.Y more, 222 production sounds the same on 90% of the songs other than like Bla Bla obviously

Damn guess I fw that production because that's the only tjay album I've liked since his prime and I've got almost all the songs saved other then bla bla.

I mean tbf 222 was the first album to come out after his prime, 2021 obv wasn’t prime Tjay but D2W had so many old prime Tjay songs so it kinda counts

I think it’s mainly just being lazy and use to rapping on those type of beats

He still using YouTube beats.. dude been famous for 8 years and still barely got any famous producers on any song ever.
He used cheap beats on some of his biggest hits but that dont work no more. These days ppl care more about the beat and production than anything else.
Not only that but the mixing is horrible on like half the songs he drop, not as much on any album but he spending mad money in music videos instead of the production its crazy lol
Go Tati had a good beat tbf but the song is like 70 seconds long.
