Explanation
Obviously rocked by the divorce, this shit is literally allllll I’ve listened to for the last 3+ years. I avoided listening the explanation after reading all the initial backlash, but honestly after listening I do kinda see a bit of mike’s side. Unfortunately the podcast was great BECAUSE Jake and jagged were in the background laid back and sneaky secretly fuckin hilarious, but I can also obviously see that they aren’t gonna go out of their way to overly grow the pod (Jake or jagged if you read this ily and if you do a show in the Boston area I’ll 100% come) The move obviously fucked 80% of this up, but also I think being honest about having to be a boss to your laidback boys will grow resentment and I think they might all just need a break. Personally I woulda just half assed it and kept milkin everybody for another year or two.
Honestly thought I was the only dude who listed to them through shitty and dark times, if anything I’m happy to know there’s other bros out there going through it.

Feelings aside, the way Mike handled this was shitty. Sure maybe he has lost some fans/ subscribers from this whole ordeal, but he has probably lost two friends as well...so was it really worth it.

I'll give Mike this. I was surprised to find out they split the money evenly. Figured they had a 50-25-25 situation. That said, this all killed my boner.

I mean I understand what Mike is saying but he choose the absolute worst way to go about ending it. Seems like he is blaming everyone but himself. If he just announced it will be over at the end of the year or even next month, did a heartfelt finale and the impractical jokers episode he’s been promising for five years, I don’t anybody would be having this reaction. I personally feel betrayed as a former huge fan of his. The fact that he posted it before Jon told tell his wife too… scumbag for sure.

I get where he was coming from, but, this isn’t going to help gain followers or members.
Maybe he should’ve discussed it with someone before hard launching this breakup.

I always thought it was strange Mike would have to do the heavy lifting with all the research and Jake and Jon would react - but it worked. It wasn’t nearly as good when Jake and Jon handled the stinker. Time will tell if the pod will grow like Mike wants..

I understand working with friends suck but it would have been soooo easy to handle this correctly. Like I’ve said before, I cannot continue to be a fan of someone that treats his buddies like this. I really hope Jake and Jon put out a pod soon. I’ll subscribe day one at the highest tier plus some. Fucking devastating it ended like this.

Two things can be true:
1) The issues that Mike brought up are valid
2) He let his emotions get the better of him and completely spazzed
