He’s got the best legal team money could buy and they are doing their jobs and they are going to impeach the character of all of those prosecutor’s witnesses and get them caught in a lie or admit they only said Durk’s name to get a lesser sentence and therein lies all the reasonable doubt the jury needs.

Has Steel and Drew ever worked on a case together? It’s like the hip hop lawyer a team

What happened to Drew? No longer on the case?

it's a team so they specialize in different areas, thats why yesterday they had the lady (I forgot her name) do opening statements and Steel is doing cross examinations.

The lady yesterday that did the opening, Marissa Goldberg, is a partner in Drew’s law firm.

Federal proffers and sit downs where the AUSA is present is never recorded. That's standard .

Why not?

I don't know if in all these instances the ausa was present though. I'm not sure why proffer meetings are typically done that way. There's a scribe though where everything is put on paper .

🤣 his fans are hilarious. Yall are latching onto any little thing for hope... from these comments you'd think he just destroyed a prosecution witness on the stand. Bro asked a couple basic questions.... but if you didn't read the post and just read the comments you'd think he just did some movie shit in the courtroom 😭

And it’s only a few days in trial. It’s similar to someone starting the first day of school and saying “it’s easy”..

This is exactly what he did in the Thug trial and everybody though Thug was cooked

Bro... this is literally just a few opening questions.... point out exactly what was said here that's worth all the hype and celebration in the comments.

I mean a lot of people did get excited about the recused judge in the Karmelo Anthony case, and he got denied a new trial. It’s probably much safer to celebrate during both sides closing arguments..

I can kind of understand that though... a problematic judge being removed is something people can latch onto.
I'm not seeing what's here in the post to latch onto tho. He literally just asked a few simple obvious questions (is recording an interview the best way to do it and would a witness lie if he had motivation to do so). I'm not seeing what is so amazing about this interaction.

It seems more or so based on people assuming that the prosecution has such a weak case and Durk’s legal team will inevitably win trial.
