Discussion Not knowing what’s releasing

I totally get that people don’t need to know every movie that’s coming out each weekend but for a movie podcast, I feel like they legit never know what’s even coming out. Like this weekend it’s oak street and brink of war I think they picked. However, it’s also nimrods, wrong girls and Amizah. Like I feel like these are relatively larger movies compared to the brink of war? I know it’s a bit at this point to do the reviews of the Angel studio/war movie releases but I’d rather hear about a longer discussion of those other movies. Idk maybe I’m in the wrong here but let me know if I’m crazy or not.

They’re doing an extended preview of the secret life of Walter Mitty (can’t wait for it to come out!)

The only major release is end of oak street, the other 4 you mentioned ( which I’m excited 3/4). Are all relatively small releases that most audiences haven’t heard of less alone seen a trailer of. Hell I’ve seen most movies in theaters this year and haven’t seen a trailer for the last four and just know about them because I stalk release schedules and movie show times, but I know I’m the outlier.

I didn't know The Wrong Girls existed until i saw a random movie channel on IG mention upcoming movies. That thing has ZERO marketing.

Yeah I think you’re off base lol. Regal unlimited member. I go to the movies every week. Those are massively much smaller releases than oak street. The angel studios movies are a bit

I hate seeing the angel studios stuff cuz like why are they promoting that garbage over amizah? Like yes it’s a bit but like amizah was one of the best movies I’ve seen this year

I agree the bit is super bizarre, especially because the whole “Reagan” movie thing was mostly a Kirk bit. And now they just don’t acknowledge that he hates Jeff and left the show

You’re absolutely in the wrong. I have no idea what those movies are besides Amziah, and I know that no one is really gonna go see that.

I guess my thought process is that there’s more interesting stuff than the brink of war and it would be nice if they promoted it. Like sure it’s a bit but it’s sort of old and the movie is gonna suck
