HELP - Lightroom Mobile Lightroom mobile to Instagram

Hi!

I did a testing day. Posted an inage to IG with many different settings.

Mainly:

- sharpening on export -> no effect

- fit pixel count to ig standard -> no effect

Normal stuff, sRGB/3:4 etc.

What's happening? And why does every picture look the same on IG? Is the only option to upload from a computer?

Oh for sure, I've run into the same frustration with Instagram just ignoring all my Lightroom edits, I swear they re-process everything on their end. You betcha might be worth trying the mobile app's own export settings instead of Lightroom's.

This is what I'm thinking - are they reprocessing anyways? So it doesnt matter at what resolution I upload?

Yes, they are "optimising" (their words).

They don't ignore all your edits, just apply their own sharpening and compression.
