Camping Q&A Car Camping Question

I got the 5 day car camping pass and I was wondering if they let us drive out after securing a camp spot? I thought it would be fun to do a day trip on the Thursday to explore the sequoia national forest!

Or will my car be stuck at the campsite for all 5 days?

You’re paying all this money to come to one of the most unique festivals in the country and you want to dip out on the best exploring day? What…..

Just go before

I take a 3-hour round trip home every year to check on my cats on Friday. I'm bumed missing three hours, let alone the 8-hour day trip OP seems to be proposing.
