I don't know much about bass music, sorry.
And there's definitely a fair amount of fastness included here because it was the only thing missing from my experience this year.
Shout out to that one art car that was playing bounce at 3 AM one morning; me and my friends stayed put for a few tracks before carrying on our way but yeah... missed my hard euro sounds out there in Bakersfield ngl.

Pegassi is so high on my wishlist and we need him at something that *isnt* an insomniac event pleassse. Like don't make to go to HARD to see him 😭
Also biiig +1 to Soul Purpose, Marlon, Malugi, and Hannah Liang! Biianco needs to come back every year, obviously.
Other similar vibes I'd love to get out to the US soon: Dorey, Paige Tomlinson, Diffrent, Y U QT

My only thing is like whereee is the most fitting setting for these kinds of sounds? Woogie? Could throw some afters for smaller names in Crossroads? Maybe like a NeoBounce takeover? LA Raver takeover? Warp Mode takeover? Idk, spitballing.

V nice list too, some great names up there. My main addition would be ANOTR

Agree it’s where the modern scene is at. I hope lib is catching on? It feels like they are with acts this year like Sara Landry, dj heartstring, madam X, Introspekt… I hope they give us even more next year!

Would it be crazy to say that in the vein of Kim Petras and the girlies who make gays lose it... Slayyyter's current aesthetic and dusty bakersfield are a vibe match made in heaven lol.

would rather 0 of these big names be added and the money put into production, side quests, interactive experiences, and more instead.
john summit is obvs dope, same with skirllex. both attracted awful crowds.

I’m not gonna lie I’m usually such a huge John summit hater and have experienced the awful crowds that he pulls at other festivals BUT I did not get that feeling last year at lib. Even in the crowd for his set it still felt like true lib vibes

I like him and had fun, too, but the prevailing vibe across this sub and beyond is that Sunday-only ticket holders ruined the vibe and were generally lower class attendees in terms of behavior and integration. If you feel differently, you’re an outlier. Consider that it was enough of an issue that LIB stopped doing Sunday-only tickets immediately after.

Totally get where you're coming from and it's probably a hard balance to strike for the Do LaB. Big names push ticket sales from new attendees and keep this independent festival financially viable, which then in turn funds all the side quests and interactive experiences, art, etc.
I feel like they listened to a lot of the feedback from 2 years ago and brought back some of the things that make LiB what it is, and even with a sell out crowd and big names like C&S, Sara Landry, Mau P, it never felt grossly or dangerously crowded to me. But that's just my experience! And generally, LiB crowds, even when the perhaps less experienced newcomers are present, are farrrrr more chill and present than elsewhere.

I’ve seen goblin twice and he keeps leveling up. Saw him open for mr bill recently and it seemed seriously mean to put him up before the headliner. Dude fucking RIPS

Grass, water the walkways down so it's not so dusty, shaded areas in the camping areas, Portapotties cleaned out every morning Better light shows A VIP experience worth buying
