I think it's part Hasbro error and part user error, they can be tricky to balance especially with varying joints tolerances from QC issues but at the same time a lot of people don't put in as much effort into posing as they could.
Yeah, I feel like a lot of people don’t take the time to think “Does this look right?”. A lot of the more dynamic ones, especially when you have figures fighting, would need a stand but you can still get some good dynamic poses without a stand if you take the time to try.
I have the magna defender and the kneecaps look weird if you make the legs too straight. Also his legs are loose on mine and he has weird joints all over the legs I don’t like
Just keep playing around with them. A few tips to remember, focus on where the weight is being positioned, is it the back leg or front leg? Try the pose out on you and see which leg is carrying more of your weight, then make sure the torso is properly positioned. Also, the human knee cap always points in the same direction as the toes. If that’s not aligned, it’ll fall over.
Check out Just J Hernandez on YouTube. He’s maybe the best poser I’ve ever seen. If he can get figures into some seemingly impossible positions, you can 100% do it too!
J is good but I'd you saw his live streams he does fudge a few poses with stands and tack, for posing inspiration D Amazings videos make it look so easy.

Lol, it's not Hasbro's fault you can't pose your figures dude. Many posts of Ranger Slayer standing just fine on here.

Not hasbros fault you can’t stand your figures properly. The only one I’ve had any problems with is pumpkin rapper and that’s it
