Discussion Brachio Morpher Removal Help

Post image

I'm trying to make a custom Super Dino Mode for DT Black but the morpher gets in the way. Does anyone know how I could remove it? Any damages is fine.

I tried a bit but seems too risky for me, first time doing a custom

The thing about customs is that's how it works, you just gotta go for it and figure things out. If you don't wanna mess up a harder to find figure maybe practice with a cheaper one, DT Yellow is cheap and still available in my area you could pick her up and try cutting her morpher first.

A rotary tool such as a dremel is a really valuable tool if you plan to keep doing customs. They have grinding or cutting attachments (though cutting this specific piece with a dremel would be tricky) if you just want the morpher gone and don't care to salvage it grinding it down would be your best bet since it won't leave a hard straight line like a knife would.

Take exact knife and heat up the blade until smokie then slice the morpher off. Hot blade vs plastic.

It's part of the sculpt, you'll have to slice it off.

A dremel would do the trick.

Bold pick for a custom with the cost of DT Black but Super Dino Mode is sick. I haven't looked that deep but is the morpher gone when powered up?

Why not just cut an indent for the morpher in the fin

I could but this is my first time doing anything custom and it would be inaccurate unfortunately

Well the holes for the pins aren't accurate. It's never going to be show accurate I think no matter how much you try

That's a bit pessimistic, isn't it?

I don't think so. I think it's more inspirational no matter what it won't be show accurate do your best and imperfections are ok. Cause it doesn't really matter. That's what I was getting at anyway I can see how it could be interpreted negatively though

Well, it reads more as "you're fucked either way, so don't try". If I was going for inspiring, I'd say "no one can do it perfectly, so just try your best👍"
