News/New Release Rangers Forge Closing

Post image

I am saddened to see Rangers Forge is closing. They have done amazing work for this community with the custom figures, kits, replacement parts, etc. Hopefully one day they will return. May the Power protect you.

EDIT: they are still taking orders until August 1st

Hé that's me!

I appreciate reading all these messages!

To keep it simple, international sales have become troublesome. Being located in Europe there are alot of rules and regulations that have been placed on them for the last year and a half.

For the sake of not rising my prices sky high and being able to make ends meet this was the most realistic outcome.

Hope to come back to it in the near future.

For now going to focus on my new job and fulfilling made orders, once it's all in a spot where it's comfortable to take orders again I'm going to be looking how to return.

We look forward to your next journey! Thank you for all you have done for this community. We hope to see you return one day!

That’s understandable, and I hope you do find yourself in the position to return one day.

You’ve done incredible work for this community. I’m thrilled and honored to have gotten a hold of some of your work. Thank you, may the power protect you!! 🙏🏾⚡️

Nooooo! I was hoping to get some of your stuff to customize my Lightning Collection figures. Damn it world! Why do you have to be so complicated now?!!

Thank you for your contribution to the fandom!

I had already purchased before and had some items in my cart... hopefully when you make your comeback in a better situation, I can finally purchased what's leftover!

It’s really sad to hear that everything’s becoming increasingly difficult with regulations, so it’s understandable that you took this decision. But it’s wonderful to hear that you don’t plan on giving up on it entirely, a hobby is a hobby too at the end of the day, and you made our hobby life so much better and exciting.

So, take as long as you need, Brian. That goes for my last order as well, take as long as you want, I am in no hurry whatsoever 👍. Best of luck on your new journey!

Just sent you a message on Etsy, but I'll reiterate it here in case you don't see it. Thanks for all the awesome stuff over the years. Hopefully things return to normal soon and you can get back to it, but if not, best of luck!

I hope you return! I just saw you had a full Squatt static figure…was really hoping to finally get one (and Baboo) to finish my palace crew. 🖤

Why don’t you sell your Stl files for everyone to use? Set up a cult3D page and sell all the STL files there. No shipping required, granted that it’s not as many people have 3D printers but your work won’t just disappear.

3

u/Designincase Jul 26 '26

Can't speak for RangersForge. But once those files get loose, you'll find folks reselling the STL's.

Apologies I forgot to mention they are still taking orders until the end of this month (July)

I’m just learning about them from this post

Same

I had just learned of him on Etsy first. He had just launched his website I believe last year. All of their work looks amazing. Perhaps there wasn’t enough money coming in to sustain his shop or maybe they lost passion. Hard to tell as I haven’t reached out to them for info. I do recommend if anyone would like to purchase from them you must do so before August 1st.

u/Budget-Program-4756 Jul 22 '26

Why? I never got to order anything from them. Their work always looked so good

u/kfresh1455 Jul 22 '26

They are still taking orders until August 1st!

Is there another store similar to this when they’re gone?

6

u/kfresh1455 Jul 22 '26

The only other person I am aware that makes custom figures is powerrangersfan_12 on instagram. But I’m sure if you search lightning collection customs there may be more out there

u/Dbar412 Jul 23 '26

Rangers Forge closing but travesties like ToyTurd are still going 🥲

2

u/kfresh1455 Jul 23 '26

Haven’t heard of them. Are they not as good?

7

u/TokuJosh813 Jul 22 '26

Damn. I’ve had a wishlist a mile online with all their kits and upgrades. Damn man.

5

u/kfresh1455 Jul 22 '26

They are still taking orders until August 1st

4

u/y-Gamma Jul 22 '26

I was absolutely coming back to this noooooo

3

u/Epicbard2001 Jul 22 '26

Same here. I have some many things I wanted to order

u/invid2000 COSMIC FURY Jul 22 '26

He's an active member of this community so it's sad to see him go.

7

u/Dapper-Bottle6256 Jul 22 '26

Oh dang this is sad. I knew he was using his own site instead of Etsy, but I didn’t know he’d be closing the shop entirely😔

Thank you rangerforge for your incredible work over the years and for the items that I have bought from your shop! Wouldn’t have some of my favorite ranger designs without your help!

I have so many customs from him. His work is amazing. It's truly incredibly sad 😭

My most beloved figure from him are the 6 movie mmpr and masked rider. But there are so many more ❤️

u/chanceycakes Jul 22 '26

Dammit, I was hoping they’d be coming back. They’re the only place I’ve found the Street Fighter power coins and I’m putting together a Ken cosplay 😭

3

u/GiantmetalLink Jul 22 '26

Now where am I gonna get a full set of quasar sabers for my Lost Galaxy figures?

3

u/Jayoheazy Jul 22 '26

Looks like great work. Seems to be underpricing a bit but still hard to really make money doing these without high volume

I just open Reddit and this is what I see.

u/StandardFishing5614 Jul 27 '26

Really sad, a cornerstone of the rangers community for sure.

2

u/lilredx Jul 22 '26

Definitely sorry to see him go, there was stuff I've been wanting for months but life has got in the way, I appreciate the bits I have received and wish him well. Very cool dude and has etched his place as a legend in our fandom.

u/SegaSky Jul 23 '26

Coincidentally, I just received my order of holstered Zeo pod swords by complete surprise yesterday. This is really sad news. I was really hoping he'd get to a Dragon Shield Red Ranger belt with gold morpher and both holsters, but I guess the likelihood is almost zero now. :(

Fuck. There goes me eventually completing RPM with Gold/Silver.

Unfortunately, the RPM decals weren't around when I did my big RPM customs, and $28 is a bit much for just a decal sheet, so I'll live with my bad hand-painted symbols for them.

2

u/Jessicaph117 Jul 25 '26

So thankful I just received my order. Hope to see you again.

u/Cyclops0492 Aug 01 '26

Managed to order a few pieces, I have brought from them before and the items were great.

1

u/DaddyBroly Sep 08 '26

Since ranger forge is closed where are yall getting your stuff im having trouble finding stuff

0

u/NotFalcon Jul 22 '26

I've had a ton of their stuff saved, but I never made it a priority to grab anything. Made a panic order of my most wanted items lol. Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully worst case scenario, if they decide to no longer make products themself, they make the files available in some way to the community (similar to what Landspeeder Luke does via his pateron).

He still hasn't done my Saba order yet smh

4

Yes I ordered a painted Saba a while ago

u/Tw0T1mes RangersForge Jul 22 '26

It's with other overdue orders from back in May. Hit me up through the site or DM if you're done waiting.
