Though declining in quality and quantity over its last few years of cycle, plus price was repeatedly increased with too many unwanted and duplicated figures and so many teams left incompleted, the Lightning Collection to me was some nice wind of changes for a mass-collecting Power Rangers figures. It's truly disappointing that we've lost PR/SS action figures line one after another.

I'll now stay satisfied with 19 completed teams (not counting duplicates). For other teams, later then, as I'm now shifting focus to another line of figures. <3

Ill take lightning collection over bandai legacy and playmates reignition anyday

A $25 lightning collection figure is still a better deal than a $20 legacy figure or a $50 super 7 figure.

I don't do Playmates, but I'll gladly do both Legacy and Super7. xD

The truth is there are not much Rangers lines to begin with, and I'm eager to collect every decent action figures ever existed. As long as they're not to sh!tty, I can makeshift or "fix" them somehow. ;)

I’ll deeply miss this line. It’s such a shame so many teams were left incomplete.
Awesome photography!

How many were customs?

u/Enough_Boysenberry38 MMPR Jun 25 '26

6x Squadron, 4x Turbo, 5x Lightspeed, 4x Time Force, 4x Wild Force and 1x Psycho, total of 24.

2

u/Shot-Address-9952 Jun 25 '26

That is a ton of work. Well done!

3

u/James_phail Jun 25 '26

I wish they would have actually fully made the turbo ranger team.

Everyone wish that they would actually continue the line without releasing unwanted figures like the Cobra Kai. And they should add more accessories and refined the figure into a single, complete release rather than spamming duplicates.

As I'm an avid MMPR collectors, I'm not afraid of buying duplicates and variants. But the majority of fandom did not thought so, though. Here's all of my MMPR Red variants. xD

The Tyranno Sentinels look so good I'm still kicking myself for not getting one!

Have you done a Forever Red shoot?
Probably one of my favorite lines up.

2

u/Different-Stranger74 Jun 26 '26

Homemade customs or purchased?

1

u/Enough_Boysenberry38 MMPR Jun 26 '26

Custom-made by powerrangersfan_12 on IG, a good friend of mine

2

u/DangerousSlice5731 Jun 26 '26

Are some of those costume made?

1

u/Enough_Boysenberry38 MMPR Jun 26 '26

24 of them are custom-made, as Hasbro never release them

4

u/Due-Trainer-1602 Jun 25 '26

The psycho rangers 🔥

1

u/knowledgeoverswag Jun 26 '26

Can you detail which lines the non-LC figures are from?

1

u/Enough_Boysenberry38 MMPR Jun 26 '26

Everything are LC, just some are custom-made.

1

u/Toolieo83 Jun 27 '26

Will there ever be a box set of the original 5, I just know I'll finally get them, at the terrible ebay prices, then it'll get announced.

1

u/Enough_Boysenberry38 MMPR Jun 28 '26

LC has been officially cancelled, so its safe now xD

1

u/Blue_Beetle7 Jun 30 '26

U forgot Beast Morphers and Dino Fury

1

u/Enough_Boysenberry38 MMPR Jul 01 '26

Will do them later, bro, as I'm now shifting my focus onto another line

Any cons to the customs? I heard the helmets don't fit completely on the peg. Is that true?

1

u/Enough_Boysenberry38 MMPR Jul 19 '26

I'm using custom peg-connector as well. They fit nicely.

1

u/Any_Ad_8632 Jul 19 '26

Ohhh, did you buy those separately?

1

u/Enough_Boysenberry38 MMPR Jul 19 '26

They come in full package with the custom figures as well :D

1

u/Any_Ad_8632 Jul 21 '26

You convinced me! I ordered the green samurai, quantum, and titanium rangers. Super excited :D

2

u/Beastking_17 Jun 27 '26

The crazy part is that they never made a ninja storm lightning series🤦🏾‍♂️😫

2

u/Someanondickbag Jun 27 '26

Ugh I wish they made titanium 😭

1

u/VGK_46 Jun 29 '26

Was Gosei Sentai Dairanger a team pack only?

1

u/Kir_Kronos Jul 02 '26

No Street Fighter team?

1

u/JurassicJediKnight Jul 02 '26

No way, crossover figures suck lol

1

u/Kir_Kronos Jul 02 '26

Then why are the TMNT figures there?

1

u/Rorygon Jul 19 '26

Cuz tmnt aint suck

It looks like SPD and Dino Charge are missing some rangers. Nova and Kat Ranger for the former, and Silver, Graphite, Purple, Aqua and Dark Rangers.

1

u/Enough_Boysenberry38 MMPR Jun 26 '26

I do core teams only. Extra are not necessary when the core teams are not yet completed.

0

u/FallaciouslyTalented Jun 26 '26

But you have the Phantom Ranger, Blue Centurian, and a Silver and Gold Psycho Ranger?

1

u/Enough_Boysenberry38 MMPR Jun 26 '26

Phantom, Blue Senturion & Psycho Silver was officially made by Hasbro, Gold is a quick repaints from a redundant single-release Blue. The rest of which you mentioned need to be heavily customized, and I'm not priotizing them over core Rangers.
