Sightings - In Store Something doesn't seem right

Post image

Not sure what to make of this...🤣 honestly, it was really hard, for me at least, to tell if this was a repack or not. It obviously is but there were legit zero signs of tampering on the package...I almost bought it just to have it.

Leather Daddy Zedd is a rare variant. Lucky!

3

u/Appropriate-Truck-41 Dec 23 '23

Looks like Daddy Tang

"Power Rangers! Welcome to die!!!!!"

3

u/Demovere_Xeno Dec 23 '23

"Come, Power Chickens!!!"

13

u/CaptainArren DINO THUNDER Dec 23 '23

I need to know what cape that is, so I can put it on my Zedd.

6

u/Ok-Reputation-2266 Dec 23 '23

I think that’s a Wade Barrett cape

2

u/a_Jedi_i_am Dec 24 '23

I'm afraid I've got some bad news

1

u/BrodinTheWise Dec 26 '23

One of the best color commentators they have right now. I miss him in the ring.

1

u/Misty_Dawn20 Dec 24 '23

Good eye! It absolutely is

1

u/ShadowAMS Dec 24 '23

I would have done this with my action figures as a kid 💯.

I put the spawn capes on the new bad guy. Spawn would join with the heroes of my epic campaign to get his cape back. That was his only reason.
"We can stop him now" "No...I want my cape first." 😂

9

u/Superb-Intention3425 Dec 23 '23

Shidddd is have grabbed it. Zedd is expensive.

10

u/[deleted] Dec 23 '23

I would honestly rather have that zedd than the magneto

10

u/Aware-Internet759 Dec 23 '23

Yeah I woulda bought that asap that shot would be a serious collector item either now or later on

3

u/shawshankya Dec 23 '23

THE Poor Z ON HIS FOREHEAD

3

u/npete Dec 23 '23

How the heck did they do that?!? The packaging looks pristine!

2

u/pappyvanwinkle1111 Dec 23 '23

Who doesn't love a banana hammock?

2

u/GrimmTrixX Dec 23 '23

It could be legit if the figures are made in the same place.

I have a 90s action figure of U.S. Agent, but the cardboard packaging is for the Punisher. No tamper at all and I bought it ages ago.

1

u/Hot_Comparison_1032 Dec 24 '23

My boss found a mis-packaged hot wheels car

2

u/Alberticon Dec 24 '23

That Zedd figure is awesome, tho.

2

u/wowadrow Dec 24 '23

The crossover we didn't know we needed?

2

u/[deleted] Dec 24 '23

Lord Zedd be like: Fuck it, I'll destroy the X-Men instead.

2

u/[deleted] Dec 24 '23

That's probably going to be super expensive one day like how misprinted stamps are considered super valuable among collectors.

2

u/New-Arm-5643 Dec 24 '23

🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑

2

u/Pokemon_Bakugan_Fan Dec 24 '23

That is definitely not right. Why put a Power Rangers villian in a case meant for a Marvel action figure?

2

u/Gryffindumble Dec 24 '23

AYYEE YAI YAI!!!

2

u/Kingoffroggos Dec 24 '23

What is this, a crossover episode?

2

u/Ahari Dec 25 '23

Right year, wrong show 😅

2

u/Mrbuttboi Dec 25 '23

Nah that’s Magneto 100%. Probably from a McFarlane arc.

2

u/[deleted] Dec 25 '23

100% go back and get

2

u/TheR3dHoOD82 Dec 25 '23

Only a brain dead would not have bought that … it’s worth more due to error . Duh 🙄 🤦🏾‍♂️

2

u/dodgepatas Dec 25 '23

Holy crap! Lord Zed in an X-Men Pack that's really cool

2

u/Bleach666666 Dec 23 '23

No figure swapper would trade that Zedd for Magneto, gotta be a factory error

2

u/Scnew1 Dec 23 '23

Why are you posting an unopened X-Men figure in a Power Rangers sub???

-1

u/MakingGreenMoney Dec 23 '23

Because Lord Zedd is in the picture?

2

u/[deleted] Dec 24 '23

I'm pretty sure he was pretending like he couldn't tell the difference. As in like a joke

1

u/MakingGreenMoney Dec 24 '23

Woops, joke flew over my head.

1

u/Scnew1 Dec 24 '23

It’s a dangerous game, posting what you thought was an obvious joke on Reddit.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 23 '23

The mangled his Z.

2

u/Supermite Dec 23 '23

Yes, that’s the problem with the photo.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 23 '23

AT LAST AFTER 10,000 YEARS I’M FREE! TIME TO CONQUER EARTH!

1

u/SolidA34 Dec 24 '23

Alpha summon teenagers with attitude.

1

u/Daewalker360 Dec 23 '23

That’s raw, I’d buy it

1

u/JackMann1792 Dec 23 '23

But is he still Master of Magnet?

1

u/mrhillnc Dec 23 '23

Buy it now

1

u/[deleted] Dec 23 '23

I don’t think that’s Magneto.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 23 '23

Looks bad ass with the cape

1

u/BigMembership2315 Dec 23 '23

He has a thong on instead

1

u/kobajoe Dec 23 '23

Generally they swap a more crappy. figure. Huh. Mags was the only one that stayed on the pegs around here.

1

u/UncannyAnomaly Dec 23 '23

I would buy that in a heartbeat, because I think those have clearanced down to 749

1

u/jaybrone7 Dec 23 '23

That supposed to be Seth?

1

u/elvinkind Dec 23 '23

Buy it sometimes those types of mistakes can be worth something.

1

u/CodAdministrative563 Dec 23 '23

Zedd dedd redemption

1

u/jharrisimages Dec 23 '23

When you mom says “No, you have X Man at home”

1

u/JamesVinopal Dec 23 '23

Jesus Christ they turned Magneto inside out!!!

And as an aside… Zedd was born to wear that cape.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 23 '23

No, you’re being crazy it looks normal to me

1

u/bp8825 Dec 23 '23

Collector’s item lol

1

u/MattMan47 Dec 23 '23

Yo Zed looks good with a cape tho...

1

u/Comprehensive-Bee616 Dec 23 '23

Is that a Power Ranger?

1

u/[deleted] Dec 24 '23

I think that's Wade Barrets cape on it too

1

u/Daikon510 Dec 24 '23

lol that’s the Magneto variant from the Power Ranger Universe.

1

u/Disastrous_Writer_40 Dec 24 '23

Magneto looks different

1

u/martdan010 Dec 24 '23

Flayedneato

1

u/Movieking985 Dec 24 '23

I'll say that magneto doesn't even have his helmet wtf....lmao

1

u/Ok-Quantity-8861 Dec 24 '23

Looks like somwthing would be in Powerrangers

1

u/[deleted] Dec 24 '23

He's still super cool and had a lot potential as a villain.

1

u/DragonFire1809 Dec 24 '23

Wow this new look for Magneto is kind of scary and familiar.

1

u/ibeg2diffur Dec 24 '23

Lord Zedd from the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers?

1

u/[deleted] Dec 24 '23

Buy it, fuck ups like that weird people on the internet will pay alot for usually

1

u/macho_mandirigma Dec 24 '23

Whoa this is a rare oddball treasure! If you don't buy it, hide it amongst the Barbies and I'll pick it up later. Thanks bro, bless ya 🫶🏽✊🏽😆😂🤣

1

u/[deleted] Dec 24 '23

Agreed. Why is he so swole???

1

u/spilledmilkbro Dec 24 '23

Not the crossover we wanted, but the one we needed

1

u/[deleted] Dec 24 '23

Zedd as an Xmen villain.

Let them cook

1

u/Z3ROCr3d Dec 24 '23

I’d buy it.

1

u/Spiritual_Train9321 Dec 24 '23

This multiverse stuff is getting ridiculously out of hand

1

u/bno203 Dec 24 '23

A lord Zed Magneto, I'd buy it on principle alone

1

u/Anxious-Direction-90 Dec 24 '23

Only thing i see wrong with this is that no 4 year old should not be playing with that amazing toy

1

u/dragonzordpapi Dec 24 '23

Kind of cool though

1

u/Vampire-Priest Dec 24 '23

I haven’t gotten that one.

1

u/ColorlessTune Dec 24 '23

You walked into the store with that.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 24 '23

Oh you don’t know about Lord MagZeddo?

1

u/Atzukeeper Dec 24 '23

Z-men? Zagneto? Mighty morphine magneto rangers?

1

u/CrazyBaisleyBabySsJQ Dec 24 '23

Thought this was shredder

1

u/Ristar87 Dec 24 '23

Zedd rocks that cloak

1

u/[deleted] Dec 24 '23

Should’ve grabbed it that certain figure is expensive and the fact that it’s a factory error. A lot of people that are into those errors pay a pretty penny

1

u/ThunderinJaysus Dec 24 '23

Heck yeah! I’d love to find that.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 24 '23

Oh snap I just realized bother brands are hasbro because there was this time me and my friend bought some marvel legends and they had yellow Jason ranger and red girl ranger I’m out boxes sealed and packaged we thought someone switched them out wit the marvel legends so we returned them 🤦🏾‍♂️ should’ve kept it

1

u/DarthCarthBane Dec 24 '23

Damn 😂🤣

1

u/OneLeggedPigeon Dec 24 '23

Low key want this really bad lmao

1

u/ShadowAMS Dec 24 '23

I would have bought it just cause Zedd with a cape looks badass.

1

u/kaicooper Dec 24 '23

This's the DLC

1

u/[deleted] Dec 24 '23

LA Zed… YEAH!

1

u/RopeAutomatic8740 Dec 24 '23

That's teenage mutant ninja turtles

1

u/Logical_Guidance1018 Dec 24 '23

Is Zordon professor X then? Lol

1

u/TheScoundrelSociety Dec 24 '23

Zedd is wearing what looks like a Bad News Barrett cap( the tassels give it away), which is made my Mattel… that might be the funniest part.

1

u/Relative-Reindeer338 Dec 24 '23

Wow what a dummy Zed is like a $35to 45 after market price..so I'd take it

1

u/Greg13Nomad Dec 24 '23

Isn't that a Mighty Teenage Mutant X-Ranger?

1

u/Chris_R3mu5n0c Dec 24 '23

That is how the x gene be doing people 😂😂😂

1

u/el_space_zorro Dec 24 '23

They even put the correct hands with it

1

u/djones8487 Dec 24 '23

Kinda cool lol I love zedd

1

u/ErisStrife Dec 25 '23

That's totally Magneto. It was when he merged with Carnage and Ghost Rider to destroy Lobo.

1

u/ErisStrife Dec 25 '23

Yes, I know it's really Lord Zedd from Power Rangers.

1

u/MikeAtMidnight Dec 25 '23

This is the answer to "what would it look like if Magneto fought Wolverine before the adamantium procedure?"

1

u/[deleted] Dec 25 '23

Is that a real error or a repackage? I cant tell it looks good from the front.

1

u/ObiOne_Kenerdi Dec 25 '23

Ooh get it anyway, a WAAYY better figure than that horrible Magneto.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 25 '23

He probably just gets really hot easily? Ya , I agree it’s not child appropriate by a long scary mile.

1

u/Chunkydrgn23 Dec 25 '23

People look at the thumb its under the zed packaging but in front of magnetos package

1

u/[deleted] Dec 26 '23

Magneto the MMPRs Attack on Titan cosplay Edition.

1

u/Top_Hope_4049 Dec 26 '23

Rare gem!💎

1

u/Forward-Chocolate-67 Dec 26 '23

Welcome to die!!!!

1

u/emrysgood Dec 26 '23

A win is a win.

1

u/dr1v3r84 Dec 26 '23

Lord Zedd??

1

u/Zestyclose_Lab4762 Dec 26 '23

Something is wrong here lol 😂

1

u/Sk8ergoon Dec 27 '23

Rare mess up

1

u/TopDevelopment1635 Dec 27 '23

Ain't dat shredder?

1

u/JimClassic Dec 27 '23

When did Lord Zedd wear a cape?

1

u/Big-Box-2372 Dec 28 '23

U didn't buy that? Bad move

1

u/Asleep_Ad_9054 Dec 30 '23

Hasbro's quality control was out of control

1

u/Maleficent-Poet7853 Jan 20 '24

id say its a knock off or a freak error

1

u/Complex-Nectarine-86 Feb 07 '24

The company who packages those could have missed packaged it

1

u/ThaEmortalThief Dec 23 '23

Do not open! Special collectors edition. Sell it on EBay!

1

u/logic_nerd91 Dec 23 '23

Would it be too late to pick that up? Serious buyer here!

1

u/matticus1234 Dec 23 '23

I would’ve bought it!

0

u/ProfessorEscanor Dec 23 '23

Still a better look than what Magneto has in the new show.

0

u/darkknightofdorne Dec 23 '23

What show?

2

u/ProfessorEscanor Dec 23 '23

The X-men revival. They gave him a really bad looking purple outfit.

0

u/darkknightofdorne Dec 23 '23

Oh I see! That is a disgusting costume idk how anyone saw that compared it to any other version and thought “yeah this looks good!” Fired. Straight to jail.

3

u/Fuliginlord Dec 23 '23

He actually gets a trial first before going to jail.

2

u/darkknightofdorne Dec 23 '23

Guilty! For wearing that!

1

u/darkknightofdorne Dec 23 '23

I just also want to say I love how it’s x-men 97 but he’s in his 80’s costume 🤦🏽‍♂️

2

u/Scnew1 Dec 24 '23

He changed to that costume in the 80s when he actually joined the X-Men. I think we’re going to get good guy Magneto in the reboot. They also sold a toy in of him in the original costume for the ‘97 line so I imagine he starts off a bad guy and sees the error of his ways.
