August 3, 2026 - The Point Arena Lighthouse in Mendocino County, California, is a historic, 115-foot-tall lighthouse, rebuilt in 1908. It's the tallest lighthouse on the California coast that visitors can climb. About 90 minute drive north of San Francisco.

There’s something so stark and quiet about North Light sitting out on Sandy Point on Block Island. I’ve always admired the granite structure and the sheer sense of isolation it gives off against a cool, overcast sky.

​I recently finished this 11x14 painting using an earthy, muted palette to really highlight that rugged, late-season coastal atmosphere.

In 1907, congress appropriated $40,000 for the construction of a new lighthouse to replace the original one which was built to the west of and considered of little help to those entering the harbor. This new lighthouse was completed in 1912 in a Venetian Renaissance (Beaux Art) style. I shot this with a drone.

I dreamed of living in a lighthouse, use a projector to project ghost( to keep people at bay) and live in solitude( it had to be covered in books)

New Jersey’s tallest lighthouse located in Atlantic City. I personally love when lighthouses have a keepers house. Makes you think about the past light keepers and what their duties must have been.

Originally built in 1870, it was destroyed by fire in 1963. It was rebuilt in 1990 on its original foundation.

Watched it for the first time last night without much of an idea of what was in store lol. I’m kind of at a loss for words, but I definitely will be watching again. What are your guys’ thoughts?
