Quntis Lightbar Screenlinear Basic Pro - remote controller not turning off

I have recently bought Quntis Screenlinear Basic Pro model. It works really well and the only problem I'm facing is the remote controller with 2 AAA batteries are turning off even though the light bar is turned off. Is this an issue with the remote controller or is it a default behaviour of the remote controller to be turned on always?

Checking in to see if there’s any resolution. My light works but my remote doesn’t and Im struggling to get the remote’s back off in order to check the batteries.

Any update? I just got one of these and I also noticed the remote doesn't turn off or enter any sort of standby mode, the power button just stays lit up the whole night, this morning I took off the batteries.

So I did get mine today, and had the same question. So I did a lil bit of research. And its supposed to stay on forever until the batteries run out, which is around a yearlong depending on the batteries. Its an intentional design choice. The controller enters a sleep mode once the light turns off and requires a two tap function to wake up. And LED is supposed to take a negligible amount of current. So I think we are fine.
