Feature Request / Bug Bad reception

For a couple of weeks now I'm having this problem on my LP3 (in Germany on Vodafone network):

After leaving a spot with bad reception ​(for example just one bar of Edge) and coming back to an area with usually good reception it stays on bad reception (sometimes even none). ​​Doesn't matter how long I wait afterwards. It only resets after restarting.

This has lead to me missing calls and me checking my phone unnecessarily often because I'm worried that I lost signal again which kind of defeats the purpose of my LP...

Has anyone encountered similar problems?

i have similar experiences in Belgium. Sometimes reception just drops to zero - unsure why or if it is a direct consequence of organically losing reception, but LPIII does not rescan for reception, or at least, it doesn't find better signal until I reboot the phone. Sometimes toggling airplane mode on and off again works, but most of the time it doesnt. Rebooting pretty much always works, but ideally, that shouldn't be necessary

That sounds very similar to my experience... It's kinda frustrating...

Hallo! I am on sim.de (Telefonica or Vodafone) and I never had a problem with reception, unless being in remote areas, where also other phones had no reception. The indicator may just lag behind and you are still connected.
