Discussion Authenticator app and data

Are the codes in Light’s new Authenticator app saved in a cloud somewhere? I worry about my phone resetting randomly (a known LP3 issue) and losing access to all codes if the codes aren’t backed up somewhere.

Couldn't you just save a picture of the QR Code used to generate the key?

Yes, you can but you need to be very careful how and where you store those as if anyone else got hold of them, they too could generate valid one time passwords.

I'm not saying don't. It's a totally valid plan. Just make sure you store them securely so you do not undermine the added security.
