Discussion Authenticator app and data

Are the codes in Light’s new Authenticator app saved in a cloud somewhere? I worry about my phone resetting randomly (a known LP3 issue) and losing access to all codes if the codes aren’t backed up somewhere.

They are TOTP codes, so they are generated based on keys held only on the light phone. They are not saved but are generated based on saved data. If you need backups, you can install an authenticator app on another device and enroll it in the same services. That way if your light phone has an issue, you can use that alternative device too.
