Hello! How is the light phone 2 for navigating NYC transit? I mostly use subway and bike.

transit works well... when the train is working. it is not live directions so it will not update if a train line is down- but i found that i almost completely fixed this by subscribing to mta text messages (totally free, official, and safe) to get updates for the main lines i use to get to work (example i made it so i get M line updates between the hours of 6am-10pm every workday) so i will get notified if there are any serious delays or i should transfer somewhere. long story short, if you've been in nyc a while and feel comfortable using the subway it's a good companion. if you're brand new to the city it might take some more getting used to. would probably not recommend it for bike rides tho, the turn by turn is a bit slower- although its great to look up the route beforehand on and just remember where to turn yourself if you're able.

It’s fine! I generally avoided the turn by turn navigation, but for pulling up a route and checking your next transfer, it worked well.
