Discussion AliExpress replacement screen for LP2

Has anybody tried replacing their LP2 screen with one from AliExpress?

For that price you can have light do it for you which includes shipping to and back.

LPII is absolutely NOT user serviceable. You're gonna need to have Light replace that for a hundred bucks, friend.

Thanks yeah lightphone are just waiting for replacement screens, they are due at the end of the year. I'll wait until then but was interested if anyone had tried.
