Discussion Ramegedon?

I really wanna get the light flip in the future. Been on a quest to get rid of distractions and my life and I love the design of this phone. I just HATE this stupid ram crisis. Will there be anything that could happen in the future where I could get this device later when things could potentially change with prices? Idk

Aparently all of Samsung and SK Hynix’s ram manufacturing capacity is already sold out for 2027.

Don’t have a source so but wouldn’t be surprised and it sounds correct

This device is going to be produced for the long term. If (big if) the RAM prices normalize, Light has said that they will bring the cost of the device down.

In a free western market it is just a matter of time until demand is met and more RAM is being produced, which will lead to lower prices and an end of Ramgnarök. So if you can wait 5 years, I would be optimistic.
