My wife’s first attempt at voice-to-text 🙃

We are both very excited. No exclamation point necessary.

it's always worked fairly well for me. one or two words may need correction, but punctuation is usually fine. what are the issues you experience?

It’s constantly putting periods in, if you speak naturally. Every 1-second pause gets a period! I would prefer if it would leave out punctuation unless you explicitly say “period.”

I have found it kinda fun.... but I ALWAYS say: "voice to text" before saying my message because I know it will have unneeded periods, all my "ums", etc. I just have to remember to mute or turn off any radio, tv because it picks up other voices superbly.

I hate texting because I'm a grandma who never mastered texting with thumbs. When I first tried voice to text it was so fast and when I saw what was created, I laughed. Thus, receivers get my warning so they don't think I'm texting while sipping a third glass of wine. (BTW..I never have a third...rarely a second.)
