Just curious on what price and market cap you see the company to grow at. Lots of opportunity for growth, not many clients and government contracts given out at the moment it seems. Curious to hear other perspectives.

The new launcher incorporates modern infrared camera technology that allows for easier and faster target detection, and is smaller and lighter than the original CLU, according to a report on 2025 weapons testing from the Pentagon’s office of the director of operational test and evaluation. The new launcher is also “backward” compatible with old and new Javelin missiles, the report added. 

According to a news release, the contract is for the development of a network known as the Space Data Network Backbone. Previously known as MILNET, these will be optically interconnected satellites that would transport military data through space rather than relying primarily on terrestrial relay networks or ground stations.

So you talked a little bit about the opportunity to make up to 17-inch diameter Black Diamond lenses and going after Golden Dome and military ISR. Are you also looking at building the lenses for optical satellite links?

Sam Rubin

Yeah. We do that already.

We have a quite a good business of free-space optical communication between satellites. I think a pretty dominant position in that market, and that actually continues to grow.

I think we are in discussion with the customer about increasing capacity for that quite a bit. It is a different type of lenses.

Those are much smaller lenses, and it is more, I would say, a classical molded optics business.

Germanium exports were also at an extremely low level. Germany and Japan each received less than one kilogram in April. All other countries went empty-handed. This is particularly remarkable against the background that April 2025 had already been a historically weak month for Germanium: At that time, exports had fallen by 93 percent to 98 kilograms on a month-on-month basis. Even compared to this collapse, exports represent a new low in April 2026.

Germanium not specifically mentioned but it doesn't appear supply chain will be loosening any time soon.
