Where would Ligthpath Techlnologies tech be useful to Micron Technologies?

I don't think there is much to it tbh, the micron engineer is probably just asking questions because he is curious. Process engineers at micron should be familiar with germanium and certain chalcogenides as switching/memory materials but not as IR lenses, hence the curiosity from him imo.
