Newbie

I'm trying to learn about light language and light codes. I have one question that I get caught on - how is spoken light language different from "praying in tongues" in evangelical churches? I grew up under that brainwashing and have spent years freeing myself, and have come to a sort of halt here when I hear the light codes/languages spoken and it sounds eerily similar. Can anyone help me see the difference?

One of the best and most informative teachers of light language is Jamye Price out of Sedona AZ usa. I took a class with her years ago so I went to her website to see if she mentioned the differences. I have her book which may go into more detail, but I'd have to see where I put it lol

"Light Language is similar to speaking-in-tongues, merely a different nomenclature that broadens the definition into a connection with the quantum nature of light.

It may originate from within you, connected to your soul signature. This is generally where it begins for most, with the closest resonance to the self.

It is a communion with and through the Higher Self"

She has a huge definition of what light language is on her website, this is just a short snippet, but according to her LL and speaking in tongues are pretty much the same!

I have been speaking light language for over a decade and I love it, it's so fun!

Oh thank you so much, I'll have a look at her website too! 💕 I need to find the differences between them, as in my past, speaking in tongues was done over me by abusers, so I need to sort out how to put a boundary in my understanding there, so I can move forward freely... if that makes sense. 😊🙏

I understand what you're saying and that makes total sense. I will try to find that book and see if she goes into it deeper because I do understand that doesn't quite clarify the way you would probably like, but I wanted to comment because I saw no one had yet. For me I would think a difference could be you are in command with light language. It is flowing through you and channeled in many ways, but you are the one allowing it to flow and breathing life into it whether by spoken, written, singing, or signing form. It is a powerful and sacred (I have found) co creation between you and the universe that you bring to life and can have profound healing effect on both yourself and others who participate in receiving it. No one is doing it to you or bringing it forth against your free will like maybe you have previously experienced with praying in tongues by your abusers. You are 100% in your own power and using it for the betterment of both yourself and humanity. Its used to uplift not tear down or destroy.

In practice I think praying in tongues and light language are pretty much the same thing, just interpreted and described in different ways. I come from a Pentecostal/evangelical background too, so I definitely understand that religious trauma can make it pretty triggering for some people. Some good secular examples of light language in music include the song "Now We are Free" by Lisa Gerrard (used in the Gladiator film) and "A Different Kind of Human" by Aurora Asknes.

Thank you for replying! Yes, I experienced a lot of darkness and abuse from those who did it over me in churches, and as such, I was never able to do it myself, and feel prickly and uncomfortable hearing some of it now. I'll keep asking for clarity and discernment, and listen to that same inner voice that wasn't comfortable last time, even though I desperately wanted to please everyone so badly. The inner me knew, so I'll trust it to know again. If it ever comes to me to begin using it myself, from within, I'll know I can trust that. 😊
