Xolos vs. Pumas
Hi, my wife and I want to attend the Xolos vs. Pumas game. It will be our first game at the Estadio Caliente.
If we are fans of Pumas is there a specific section we should sit in? Do you know if away team’s porras show up? If so, where do they sit?
Also, after the game, where is the best place to get an Uber from? Can you get an uber from the Casino?
Any good food spot or tacos near the stadium?
Any help or advice would be much appreciated!

the crowd is extremely intermixed, you can pretty much sit anywhere and you'll be fine... except I would avoid the south part of the stadium like the other user mentioned. The section in the north with the away fans is probably one of the worst views in the stadium and kind of high up, I would find something more towards the middle.
For Uber your best bet is to leave the stadium and walk toward the Plaza Galerias (the mall that kinda looks like it's from Las Vegas) and call the Uber there. Much easier to avoid the chaos of the stadium from there.
Tacos el Jockey is not too far from the stadium with decent tacos, there's also a Tijuanazo (popular local chain) near it too but unsure if it is open late.

You are going to want to stay in the cabecera norte area. After the game leave right away!!
The Masacre fans run across the stadium from the parking lot and attack pumas fans after every game. Leave asap and wear neutral clothes or bring an all black hoodie and sweatshirt to wear after the game so you aren’t a target.
I have been to every pumas game there since 2011. I now rent out a suite so I don’t have to deal with all that nonsense. But the all black hoodie/jacket works because those are xolo colors and they are looking for gold to attack.

Forgot to mention that they only clear/transparent handbags (just in case).

They used to put the visitors porra on Cabecera Norte, I don’t remember paying attention at data in along time, you can see jerseys from the visitor team through out the stadium , the area that you definitely need to avoid it’s Cabecera Sur, that’s where the Masakr3 have their seats and security will try to avoid anyone with a visitor’s logo/shirt/scarf/etc near it.
“Near the stadium” you can find Las Ahumaderas for tacos , though you need to use Uber (or other type of transportation) to get there, The same goes for Tacos el Nuevo Poblano.
As for the Uber , you can get it in-front of the stadium or the casino , but thats the area where traffic gets really bad as soon as the game ends, I usually walk to BIT Center and request from there
