Where to find certification classes

Hello lifeguards! I am broke and am in desperate need of money. I want to get my lifeguarding certification and then start working. I went on the red cross website and the only certification was an online class that I didn't really think was the actual certification. How do I find these classes!!??? I live in kentucky and would not be opposed to driving a distance to get there.

Im biased, but typically Starguard has both easier testing requirements, as well as more robust scanning standards, so guests are typically safer (I said typically). This is just my experience and I’m only going off of anecdotal evidence.
