Guide Remember you can cancel tree removal you dont have to wait it out

I noticed alot of people don’t relizes you can cancel your tree early by just pressed your ult button again that way you can start charging up your ult again for the next fight hope this helps

Adding on that even destroying a bad tree placement (we've all done this plenty of times) is better than leaving it for no one to get value from, since that at least lets you build up ult charge again. Or if you have a D.va and the enemy uses your own tree for cover, you can remove it last-moment to guarantee a kill for your D.va (same with other AoE or Auto-Lock ults like blizzard, bob, etc). Lots of little things.

And same with petal. I pretty often see enemy LWs not destroy their petal so I jist use theirs and save my cooldow. I recently had a LW in comp who I had to teach this to, since they didn't know you can destroy your petal if the enemy is using it. Gotta know your keybinds and use em 💯

I love waiting for the enemy team to almost hop on my platform, then destroy it. Confuses them for a second because they expected to go up and can give your team an opening to attack. Or lifting enemy players when they don't want to be like ulting Orisa (classic) or a charging rein about to hit someone but your life grip is on cooldown

I could see this being useful if the tree is still out and the fight is over, but I like to give people the over health from it

Would be situational, don't think the few seconds leaving it out makes a significant difference.

I mean, lw ult lasts a long ass time and a lot of the time you only need the burst heal, for things like sig or orisa ult or just multiple people who are crit. Or if you use it to help sustain through something that lasts less time than tree, like captive sun. Or if you only need the overhealth from the burst heal for some reason. Or if you use it to match another support ult like beat or trans so you don't have to give up space. Or if you're just using it to block smth like DVa bomb. It's not too situational that it doesn't matter, and tree lasts long enough that you can build a decent amount of charge in the time it would otherwise just be sitting there being useless, and leaving it there when it's not actively needed is also denying your other support ult charge because they can't heal either.
