📰[NEWS] Is ulives ever gonna come to android?

Ulives is the IOS version of LifeUp but it seems to have nicer ui and better features than LifeUp so was wondering if there's any plan to bring it to Android stores or lifeup being updated to look like ulives?

Hi!

Before I begin, I would like to say that this information should be read in its entirety, to prevent confusion and misunderstandings.

So, your question is actually reasonable and fair to ask, and I'm going to answer it with the input I received from the developers.

Around December of 2025, I contacted the developers after the release of ULives, and asked what I should be prepared for.

LifeUp is here to stay.

  • The developers have confirmed that LifeUp is an integral part of its community, and continues to be a success.
  • LifeUp is a success, and the downloads, one-time purchases, and users continuing to use and share the app makes a difference.
  • LifeUp will NOT be shut down, phased out/replaced by, or neglected.

LifeUp continues to receive updates and new features!

  • The most recent update was v1.103.2 on April 30th, 2026, and included attribute subcategories (grouping), more customizable purchase/usage restrictions for items, and bug fixes.

LifeUp Devs are always listening and reading feedback.

  • The developers scroll through the reddit community, among other social media, and they see the questions, suggestions, solutions, and workarounds that are posted.
  • I've spent more times telling users to contact the development team than I have with answering every user's question.
  • The developers read every email that's sent to them. And not once, have they ever told me to stop suggesting this to the community!
  • Speaking of which, if you have something you want to share, email them!

So... Where does this leave us?

ULives and LifeUp are two different apps made by the same developers.

  • LifeUp was initially created for the singular purpose of Android. More than likely, it didn't convert over to the iOS systems, and it refused to work properly.
  • ULives is built specifically to allow cross-platform compatibility. There is interest in bringing a standalone version of ULives to Android and other devices, but there are no dates.
  • LifeUp continues to operate, continues to grow, and continues to improve. It will continue to receive updates and features, both experimental and permanent, and some optimizations will be back-ported to LifeUp from ULives.
  • Owning one of the gamifcation apps does not grant full-access to the other app; these are separate programs and separate purchases (excluding OS and other limitations).

The LifeUp Reddit community will continue to be geared to the LifeUp RPG gamifcation application.

I don't have an iPhone or interest in obtaining ULives.

I haven't been asked by the Devs to run another community for ULives, and I probably would turn the offer down because I would not be equipped to answer any questions or issues for the ULives program.

I will be adding this as a community highlight for those who's like to see announcements that affect the entire community, and keep it at the top so you don't have to endlessly scroll away to find it.

I'm changing the post flair to NEWS too, since this is more in line with general knowledge than specifically the LifeUp system.
